Jacks Crayfish

Jack's dad caught this crayfish. Jack's dad was diving and he saw the crayfish hiding under a big rock.

Jack showed us how to hold the crayfish and Ellie, Chester and Daniel had a hold. It felt very spiky.


Thanks Jack for bringing your spiky friend to school. We hope that he made a tasty dinner.

Kiwi Cricket

Today we had some people from Sport Taranaki come to take us for some cricket skills. They taught us how to catch a cricket ball and we played games and had lots of fun. Here are some of our photos

We are the Gallery class (Room G) of Oakura School Taranaki.
We are year 1 pupils and we have two teachers, Mrs Taylor and Ms Butt.
Our classroom is the gallery, which is the biggest classroom in the school and it has been set up while we wait for two new classrooms to be built at our school.
